We are very glad that you have made the decision to become part of our Downtown business community. The Port Angeles Downtown Association (PADA) is your business representative to the City of Port Angeles and the community. Our Mission is to “Develop and Promote a Healthy and Prosperous Downtown”.
If you are within the PBIA (CBD) district, your annual assessment paid to the City quarterly automatically makes you a member of the PADA with full member benefits. If you are outside the CBD and would like to be a part of the growth and development of Downtown, please consider joining us.
It is our job to create an environment where your business can succeed and we have many resources and opportunities available.
Our office is located at 208 N. Laurel in the Chase Bank building. Executive Director, Barbara Frederick, is always available to assist you. You can contact her at 457-9614, director@portangelesdowntown.com or just drop by, she’ll be glad to help.
The Board of Directors and Committees are all listed on the website and we encourage you to talk with any or all of them and/or attend their meetings. We encourage you to get involved with your association and take advantage of all the benefits we have available to help you with your business venture.

- Management of Key Initiatives Influencing Downtown Enhancements (i.e. Painting-the-Downtown 2009)
- Direct Access to City Council and Community Planning leaders.
- Coordination roles with the Facade improvement program.
- Revitalize Downtown through the National Main Street program.
- Driving new ordinances, parking improvements and special permits
- Downtown Business Web site management & Advertisements
- Help in meeting your parking needs and requirements
- Opportunities for social networking with customers and other business people
- Developing new enhancements bringing people downtown such as Arts in Action, a downtown Farmers Market location, and more to come
- Organizing holiday activities and events such as Halloween Trick or Treating, Christmas decorations and tree lighting.
